Another thing that surprised me was how much better it was going in and out of China. As an American I really don't want to say this but it is true....By the time I was finished with the American TSA in Chicago I was glad to leave the USA. I arrived in Shanghai to find the complete opposite and was glad to be there. Leaving China was a very easy and pleasant experience. Arriving in the USA I felt like I was entering a the Federal prison system again. The Chinese were wonderful hosts.
