They have not interrupted it because they are getting rich off it!

It's true.  Local official benefit a lot from this industry.  It can explain why local authority has not intervened for long time.  however, you know, I know, I don't believe ministry of public security  and state council don't know. why did not they take actions in the past.

It is not shame for girls to be prostitutes, just as many people said that they make money through their hardworking.
Although prostitute is illegal in China, it is not shame to do it. On the contrary, those organizers and officials who provided shelters for the sex trade and made money from it are the shamest!

Its not a good idea to shame all, maybe just a couple as deterrent. More important is whether China has rehabilitation centers that teach dignity and proper way of life with compassion and patience. Some of these workers, apart from the need to survive have been put on drugs and inculcated with certain rotten lifestyle, locking them psychologically that they need to resort to prostitution to maintain their routine livelihood. For example some women are inculcated with lavish lifestyle and the manner to maintain it through prostitution. These works because these women have been instilled that morality and dignity isn't important and taking drugs and having sex have been labeled as courage and being cool (where they find social acceptance and comfort amongst the rotten part of the society).

Hence it also boils down to China's education system from young as to how dignity, morality is taught, upheld and practiced throughout. It is very hard to succeed if the top is not up to the mark. Heard from the Chinese saying that "if the top is not straight, the bottom will definitely not be straight". So its not just clamping down on prostitution. That is only the front and its the most tiny portion of the entire vice mechanism. More like a show put up by the authorities to feed the public. How can such vices not have backing by some of those in power? Can't be the police are so blind, the mayors/local councils haven't heard and the ministers didn't have any idea, when all over the world everyone else outside knew and know how to find in their home turf! Greatest joke.........

The Chinese government has a long way to go before they can call China a safe and clean country. This is just one way to make them look like they're further ahead in their changes then they actually are
I am me and that is something you will never be, no matter how hard you try!!
