The US Army is investigating the deaths of a man and two children whose bodies have been discovered at an on-base residence in Fort Hood, Texas.

The bodies were found about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday and the Army Criminal Investigation Command has launched a probe, the Army said in a news release.

The post released few details about the deaths, saying the command would not release “any further information at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.”

It is not yet known whether the victims were related to each other. However, the post said they were all military dependents.
“We do not believe there is any further threat to the community at this time,” said Chris Grey, a command spokesman.
Fort Hood is one of the largest military installations in the United States and a key player in deploying soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan.

The base has gained notoriety for the high rate of suicide as ever-larger numbers of Fort Hood soldiers have killed themselves following multiple deployments to war zones over the past few years.

20 Fort Hood soldiers committed suicide in 2012. Officials recorded five confirmed suicides and two suspected suicides last year. One of the highest numbers of suicides at Fort Hood occurred in 2010, when 22 soldiers killed themselves.

Where is your reference? You are the cut and paste king, nothing original
Stan, you're holding a gun to God's head. I can't think of a metaphor that's better than this.
