Client is an English businessman operating in China requiring a business card. All the information on the card will be in Chinese but we can't decide how his name should be presented.

Western format is Given name followed by Family name
Chinese format is Family name followed by Given name.

So the options are;
1. To have his name in English.....but then Chinese speakers may not know how to pronounce it or know which name is which?
2.  Have his name in both Englsh and Chinese characters but would the Chinese characters be in Chinese format?
3.  Have his name in Chinese characters in Chinese format.

I'm hoping for sensible replies.

I would label the names, in the format in which it is most used, western format.
Given name. Family name.
I would also put a reminder of the difference in name syntax between western and Asian names giving.
Make a minimum chance for any confusion by maximizing information on this.

Please remember that my name is a western style name and that my family name is spoken last.
My given name is XXX, my family name is YYY. Please call me XXX or Mr YYY.

The day I stop learning will be the day I die. Maybe.

MY BUSINESS CARDS ARE IN ENGLISH ON ONE SIDE AND CHINESE ON THE OTHER.....

THE CHINESE SIDE HAS MY FAMILY NAME FIRST AND MY GIVEN NAME LAST.....

Keep it simple and use common sense
Stan, you're holding a gun to God's head. I can't think of a metaphor that's better than this.
