Nathan Wyburn is pictured next to his food art of X Factor finalist, Nicholas McDonald. Created to mark the new Hotpoint small appliance range, the palatable portrait was created using steamed and blended festive foods, including turkey, ham, sprouts, cabbage and Christmas pudding.

It's the X-mas Factor! An artist spent over 36 hours creating these amazing portraits of the three X Factor finalists from Christmas food ahead of Sunday's tasty final.

The sumptuous Christmas spread of Sam, Luke and Nicholas included two kilos of turkey, 144 slices of ham and 89 sprouts. A further 168 carrots, five large Christmas puddings and a few mince pies were also used in the unique artwork using Hotpoint's new appliance range.

Stan, you're holding a gun to God's head. I can't think of a metaphor that's better than this.
