That is funny to see how my nephew standing on the chair besides my fahter. He gets much taller than my father's .

This one is never obeyed, it drives me nuts hearing all the slurping and lip smacking sound made by eating with there mouth open.

I thought slurping was a sign that you enjoy the food.  I've had chinese people ask me if i know how to slurp.  I say yes i do know how to slurp but every time i do i think of my moms hand coming across the table at my face.

I have a friend who's five year old son was practically raised by his grandparents.  He is so used to sitting next to his grandmother who constantly feeds him.  When he is out with just his parents he sits beside his mother with his mouth open. He can't understand why mommy doesn't do like granny and put food in it.

That is funny description though.

I thought there are lots of differences between old China and new China even the elder generation with younger generation. For eg. the elder generation do not like to take shower or baths, but I think the young ones like to do it often.
