Also depends on where you live. If you live a community or region with a large Chinese population you will find those words already being integrated and used by non Chinese. I find tuhao and dama used occasionally by non Chinese in my community.

I agree. These words will fade from people's memory with the disappearence of the social phenomenon. They are instant and never last long.
