[Fuzhou] Highlights of the "EBOHR Cup" Fuzhou cycling tour [Copy link] 中文

Three riders have been stand-outs in the first stage of the "EBOHR Cup" Fuzhou International Road Cycling Race for 2013, which got off to a good start, on Nov 16, in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province.Boris Shpilevsky,a member of the RTS Team, was in first place;  Jiri Hochmann, in second place, from the Czech ASC DUKLA team, and Ruslan Karimov, in third, from the Uzbek national team.The three-day race has three stages, Nov 16 - 18, and covers about 365 kilometers. The first leg runs for 105 km, the second for 151 km, and the final, 109 km. It passes through the province's tourism cultural landscape, such as Jiangbin Park, Mawei, the town of Songkou,in Yongtai county, Qingyun Mountain, and the Yunding scenic spot.Sponsors of the race are the Cycling and Fencing Administration Center of the General Administration of Sports of China, the Fujian Sports Bureau, and the Fuzhou government. It has attracted more than 200 professional athletes and coaches from around two dozen teams in 13 countries and regions.By Hu Meidong and Lu Ting from China Daily Fujian Bureau
