Well, they don't need a gun. They'll defend this country with their flesh.

Your words are outraging!

If you do not know what to say, just keep quiet.

Those amorous posters are very provocative. The author of the posters should be jailed!

Hu Ming must either be a very connected person at that time of Cultural Revolution or a very lucky person to avoid being censured which cna be deadly in the Cultural Revolution period.

There is nothing wrong with painting provocative women subject that display or project the strength of Chinese women as much as Qiang Qing mayhave intended as inher promotion of the "EAST is Red".

The physiques,of course, are exaggerated as Chinese female physique ( buttocks, calf, and breasts) are not volluptuos as portrayed. But again it maybe more of propaganda of the advent of strong Chinese women.

Traditional strength of Chinese women as I understood to be is more like Enpress " Wu Tze Tian": sensual, composed, yet deadly. But then Qiang Qing had not been from priveledged class but from the entertainment sector of Shanghai which  ranks low in social order in Chinese traditonal past including the Mao years. This may explain her deadly enmity with the Wang Guangmei ( the sophisticated and learned wife of Leader Liu Shaoqi)

And who says the cultural revolution produced bland art, stark grey imaginations, and conformity.
The truth is, communism frees up people to become more creative.
It's much more difficult to be creative in the slave/master society of capitalism.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

I cannot find anything creative here. Instead she takes advantage of the political event as publicity stunt to attract eyeballs and make money.
