Chinese students have spent more than ten years learning English, however, majority of them still can't communicate with Enligsh well, what's wrong with it?

Any ideas on this?

Just like learning Chinese in an English-speaking country, the environment matters a lot.
I dont think there are big problems, teachers teach very good.
love my English teachers

For anyone in this world, learning a foreign language  is always  much difficult than his mother tongue .

Just two - Be willing to lose face and accept that failure is ok.
You cannot wait till your English is perfect before you start speaking it.
You need to practice.
To practice, you must accept the first sentence is never perfect.
To try is to be willing to lose face that your spoken English is not perfect.
In spite of people laughing and staring, JUST DO IT!

why the expectations that after ten years Chinese should be able to speak or use English at a level that someone else determines? Maybe this is how things are and should be accepted..
