I'm thinking of posting some recipes for easy to cook tasty western recipes suitable for Chinese people to experiment with and to try new tastes.  I'd like to know who would be interested in such material and would an equipment guide be a good idea.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Our Polish Bear is da man, I think.

Perhaps, perhaps not, I'm familiar with most of the major cuisines and have been cooking a lot longer than the polish connection ;)

It could be a good idea but only Western cooking?

Latin cooking is out of this thread?

Why not to rename it Foreign Cooking?

I tired and it wouldn't take, so see the new thread title.

From Ratfink

I'm planning half a dozen cuisines for the first series, one per week, illustrated and with simple recipes that need only a couple of specialised cooking utensils. I'll start with tools and probably techniques needed.
Denial, according the psychoanalysts, is one of the most primary mechanisms of defense. It consists in the attitude of denying or minimizing obvious facts of reality with which the individual can´t  cope or whose irresponsibility is unable to meet.

And I agree.

I suggest to start this thread with a kind of Table of Contents, listing the meals or items accordin ...

I'm more likely to do it by cuisine type. eg: Italian, French, Thai, British, and Southern American to get the ball rolling.

Deserts will be covered seperately.

Hm... I do a similar thread, but not so "specialised". Mostly the fusion.
