So far this summer in GD nas been much cooler than previous summers.  I remember previous summers where temps where normally around 38 to 40.  This summer not seen temps that high yet.  And it rains too much in the summer.

Too much rain and humidity for me.  I lived in Texas for 20 years and the temps were much higher, but less humidity and rain, like that much better.

I spent a week in EL PASO last July, during the 4th...It was a dry heat @105 -110F...Standing in the sun was terrible, but I found bike riding not so bad as long as I kept pumping down the liquids. The only real relief was riding through the mountain pass in the Franklin Mountains. The elevation change resulted in a significant drop in temperatures...
