This is the dish I have the "feeling". It doesn't look classy, but this is what I often ate when I was a child,
It's Dongbei special (Northeast of China). It's made from pickled sour vegetables with Northeast flavor and vermicelli.
I must order this dish if I go to a Dongbei restaurant

Mmmm, I think Macaroni and Cheese is my best meal for simplicity and yumminess. I like to put mayonnaise on it also, it makes it a bit tangy.

I think then would come the Fish and Chips, Pizza and Hamburger, healtheee I know, but yummy.

The two most memorable meals I have ever had were strangely both Chinese dishes.
The first was when I was about 5 years old. My mother worked as a dental nurse for a
dentist from HK. He invited our family to dinner and it was most memorable.
The beef had a very slight soy on it, and it was thin strips of beef and vegetables.
My mouth still waters when I think of it all those years ago.

The other was a lemon chicken. It was found at a Chinese restaurant in Launceston in Tasmania.
No other lemon chicken has compared to it since.


The day I stop learning will be the day I die. Maybe.
