I was wondering the same.  IF China does not permit "dual citizenship" how can this be done by his wife?  Personally I think a person should be allowed to only be a citizen of one country.  Otherwise, some fool will start a mission to have citizenship in every country possible.

Actually I know quite a few people in China that do it.  If they get caught then who knows what will happen.  The people I know use their Chinese passport to go in and out of HK and Macau and Taiwan from China. And also to other countries that allow Chinese to enter without a visa, ie Thailand. Then they will use their USA passport to travel from HK to the USA.

Isn't it is interesting to note that China requires Chinese mainlanders to have a Visa in order to travel to Hong Kong. Both are part of China. Nowhere in the USA are you required to have a visa to travel from one part of the country to another
