Prisoners held (aginst the international law) in the Guantanamo prison are being forced to use highly harmful medicament.
Since February most of the persons held there (120-130 of 166 prisoners) refuse to eat.
They are forced to eat (without the lubrication - this causes additional pain), and to take the medication - metoclopramide.
This substance causes and multiplies Parkinson's symptoms, depression, ADHD symptoms and some other side-effects.
Side effects may be irreversible.
In 2009 FDA warned the producer of the "Reglan" (metoclopramide) with the "Black warning".
This medication can't be uset longer than 12 weeks, and before - doctor have to consider if the harm caused by it wouldn't cause more problems that it's main purpose (to speed up digestion, and stop the vomiting).
If the prisoners are forced to use it since February...
