The Chuxi Tulou Cluster sits in Chuxi village, Yongding county, Fujian's Longyan city. The cluster consists of five large circular buildings and 10 rectangular buildings. They are surrounded by enchanting mountains and streams. Their layout is arranged in a scientific and rational way. As a result, the cluster has high aesthetic value.

The Jiqing Building, the oldest earth building, was built in 1419 during the reign of Emperor Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), with a history of over 580 years. Its structure is unique and rational. Each building is equipped with 72 stairways, and each stairway reaches an independent unit.
