good.........................

good that Honda is selling cheap EVs. / hybrids

In fact, the best car to buy in Malaysia right now is the Honda Jazz hybrid.

With government subsidies and excise duty exemption, savings of RM 1000 per year in petrol, another RM 1000 in maintenance bills, it is the most logical car to buy.

perfect car to buy for small families and students.

in the early stages of the electric revolution.............there are those who are believers.............and those who will believe ( some times in the future).

It is convergence of technologies, better batteries, better digital controls, better grid, more green energy, .......shareholder advocates, fund managers being more responsible in what they invest in...................and most important satisfied customers of EVs and hybrids........

The electric revolution will be faster and deeper than people realise.

I think it is very likely that some (but not all) global warming skeptics (including scientists) are supported by the big oil and coal industries and the automotive industry. I do have a complex opinion about the response to what I do believe is a real man-made problem. 1. The danger to humanity from climate change is a less urgent one than from war and poverty. 2. This is not generally-recognized by many green advocates. 3. To some extent the anti fossil fuel lobby is infiltrated by ideologues who are in favor of anything that will undermine both capitalism and industrial processes. 4. Certain undeveloped areas of the world cannot afford yet to switch from fossil fuels. 5. Most of the developed world can afford it; but it will carry real economic and social costs (among which will be transitional unemployment and increased consumer prices). 6. All these complications must be recognized and assessed accurately; then taken into account in the planning. 7. This caution of mine is not a support of the oil, coal and capitalist lobbies.
What's on your mind...
