"Taco Soup"

1 small can each of : kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans
1 large can baked beans (NOT "Boston Style" - it won't work)
1 lb or so (20 oz seems a common size now) ground turkey or ground beef
2 cups water
1 packet ranch style salad dressing mix

Brown the ground meat in a large soup pan and drain. (about 10 minutes)

Pour everything except the water into the pan and add the meat.
Stir and simmer for 10 minutes or until hot. Add water if needed to obtain desired consistency.

This should serve 6-10 people. Serve with tortillas or tortilla chips. Use salsa and shredded cheese as a garnish if you like.

Dough drop with assorted vegetable soup

Time: 10-15 minutes
Portion: for two
Ingredients you need:

flour, 1 big tomato, 2 eggs, Ketch-up(optional), Lettuce
(optional), sugar, salt, cooking oil, sesame oil, scallion

1 Wash tomato and chop it up;

2 Heat up the wok and put some cooking oil in it;
3 Add some scallion slices and stir;

4 Put tomato in it and fry for 30 seconds, (add some Ketch-

up if you have any, add sugar if you're afraid it'll taste
too sour)

5 Pour 2 bowls of water in the wok and heat it until it

6 Get some flour in a big bowl and put it under a running

tap(the water flow has to be very thin), and stir flour with
chopsticks to make flour into small dough bits;

7 Scatter small dough bits into boiling soup and boil for 2

8 Put in some lettuce (optional);
9 Crack an egg, scramble it and pour it in.

10 Add some sesame oil and it's done

Life is what you make of it
