It seems that Robbo wants everyone to be paid the same.

I don't think that someone who went through years at inversity, and paid through nose for it, should be paid the same as someone who quit school at age 16.
I don't think that someone who works 60 hrs/week should be paid the same as someone who works 40.
I don't think that someone who has a dangerous job should be paid the same as someone who has a safe job.
I don't think that someone who has little to no responsibility at work should be paid the same as someone who has more responsibility.

It seems, to me, that Robbo thinks that all of those who work harder and smarter, with more responsibility should be paid the same. I think that maybe Robbo is a very mediocre person and is jealous of those who took the initiative, siezed opportunities and doesn't have to live in redneckville. Whose fault is that?
It seems that only useless and lazy socialists complain so much about not getting their fair share and wealth inequality.
It's these people who seem to think that they're, somehow, entitled to live off the hard work and pressure that some wealthier and more responsible people shoulder.

I think Robbo is one of the 47% Romney spoke of prior to last years US election.

I think that Robbo has very little to look forward to when he retires, except social security and the reason he's moving to China isn't because of any personal relationship but because he realizes that his peasant level social security income will get him nowhere in the US whereas, in China, he'll have a better lifestyle so his coming here isn't for the love of China but purely for economic reasons because even he can see the writing on his own particular wall having lived a life full of sense of entitlement and mediocrity......the poor misguided fool!
It's Robbo's fault and problem,and Robbo's alone!

The same goes for anyone so I'm not just singling Robbo out here but since it's Robbo who posted his utter garbage, he is a convenient example!

If he actually spent time going around China he would see that the SOE's are in decline and the biggest employers are the SME's, smaller more efficient businesses is the way forward

I suspect that there is truth in what you wrote.

For those that think the old style Communism works they should talk to people that lived through it.

I have never now will ever  rely on social security and my work today will cover my future living expenses

I think that there may be quite a bit of truth in what I wrote, hence thinking carefully about it before posting.

Old style communism no longer really exists today except in NK probably. Communism, within China, only seems to exist in the hall's of power. The rest of the country is as capitalist as can be in their pursuit of qian.

I think that Robbo will need to rely on gov't handouts and this is why is so vehemently against capitalism.

I too have made provisions for my retirement, beggining with a nice army pension, investments and also, a superannuation plan that I've been paying into for over 2 decades now as well as an inheritance and so on.

Maybe because we actually worked to get to where we are at this stage is cause for those with little no provision for retirement to be so rapt with socialism.

In my opinion, we did nothing more than act responsibly towards our people and not expect anyone else to foot the bill for our old age.

It seems that rednecks like Robbo haven't done so because they thought that the gov't handouts would be sufficient.

These people are called "sheeple"!

Robert would hate my pension plan as most of it is in rental properties although I will qualify for a small pension from the Shanghai Government based on the insurance I pay every month with my wages ( wages that some people would say are earned by exploiting my Chinese employees, but they all seem happy to work for me ).
