here you are, survey in China by the state's mouthpiece CCTV no less..

The folly of ranking natio ...

I can take a survey that indicates the world is going to end on December 21, 2012 if I go to places
frequented by Mayan trivia enthusiasts. If you want people to tune in to your news it has to be
sensationalistic. If you want to read western propaganda there are many places for that.. this forum
for instance. You could even go to certain places in China to take a survey that would indicate that
100% of Chinese are Christians. Sensationalism appeals to stupid people. You should know better.

That said, I like empirical evidence. You have been to China, are married to a Chinese person and surely  are aware of the terrible inequalities over there. No one is arguing that inequality is limited to China

That is not good. I believe like you everybody has a right to an education. I went through university in my 40s, paid for by the government.

Of course China isn't perfect. No nation ever is. But at least they're on the right path.
Socialism is the government of the future.
Capitalism is a remnant of declining civilizations of the barbaric west.

Time will tell. Current evidence suggests China will end up like the West. It is already happening the haves and have nots and the margin is widening.
