There is a story on these girls in the guardian.  Interesting the stuff in that article and not in this one....

"I was beaten on to the streets by my husband in my early 20s," Louise tells me when we meet in a tapas bar on Warmoesstraat, in the heart of the red-light area. "He told me unless I earned money for him he would leave me, and I had children and loved him, so I had to do it."

Louise has three children, and some or all have been in and out of foster care. It is difficult to get the exact story because Martine, who has four children, interjects with tales of losing her own offspring and the heartache that ensued. It could be that one tells the story for both, or they tell each other. But both have encountered violence, abuse and exploitation, and their early years in prostitution were hard. "We kept each other company," says Louise. "But Martine needs to carry on because there is not much money around."

Louise, who left prostitution two years ago due to arthritis ("I could not do sexual positions") tells me how things have changed for the worse since she entered the sex trade. "There are few Dutch women and no sense of community these days," she says. The legalisation of brothels in 2000 has not improved prostitutes' lives, in Martine's opinion. "There is no point working just for tax. That is why the girls are working from the internet and from home – you are less likely to be spotted by the taxman. The whole family used to live off your earnings and now the tax office comes up with crazy amounts you have to pay. It is better for the pimps and the foreigners, but not the Dutch girls. The vultures came in 2000. Organised criminals. They thought, ahah, it is legalised. Now we are OK."

When Louise began working, Martine was in hospital having her first child. "My mother came in and said, "You know Louise is [in prostitution]. I was in shock. I wanted to help her."

"Later on they needed a cleaner in the brothel and Martine took the job and the men asked her for business," says Louise. "So we started doing threesomes, and that was how we ended up working in the same house [window brothel] together."

The relatively rosy picture the twins paint of prostitution is perhaps because they have always looked after each other and, unlike the majority of other women, even saw punters together. Born into an ordinary middle class family with seven children in total, the twins enjoyed a happy childhood. But it all changed when Louise married a violent and controlling man.

Life is far more complex than that , there is pitfalls in everything we do...........walking on a street can have pitfalls too, using gm food that we eat everyday, going in subway, farting too loud in culturally sensitive neighborhood, singing in the rain..................everything have pitfalls since we are born we know that

Nobody can protect you from yourself and your own mind Jfenix...nobody can make bigger hell of your life than yourself.

Look at a bright side and good in this world , fact is most man are good caring beings and treat woman with respect, truth is man is not your enemy but best ally in fight against woman abuse.

But do not treat man as some stupid monkey that can be manipulated by social engineering and turn into whatever you Zionist feminist and other extremists wish.

Man is human being too and it will not let you have it that way.

Man have right to claim it's space in this rather complex environment where everybody is screaming Woolf.............in all this noise modern man will have to fight back and claim it's right to be man.

The swedish model looks promising.

They have decriminalized it for the prostitutes but made it criminal to buy it.

i like UN model , UN recognize right of return for all 5 million Palestinian refugees.
People belong to their homes indeed.

Once we bring this poor displaced and abused people back home we can start saving prostitutes of course.

But I would give priority to UN right of return for 5 million Palestinians.

You as such caring and nice person that spend hours crying over prostitutes and blaming man for their plight do not have objection in saving Palestinian refugees?

Unless your care and crocodile tear have selective targets?

Whorehaus: Europe's biggest brothel to open in Austria

5 November, 2012

Russia Today

Austria is about to get an attraction unlike any other European country can boast. An Austrian entrepreneur is about to invest US$19 million in what is due to become Europe’s biggest brothel.
The location of the new mega-brothel is so far a secret, the Daily Telegraph reports. It will be named the FunMotel and will be capable of hosting up to 1,000 clients a day, with around 150 sex workers at service.
"We've deliberately spread false information about the location to avoid trouble before we had the authorization to go ahead," businessman behind the project Peter Laskaris told the Austrian Der Standard newspaper. "But it will be situated in a location that doesn't disturb anyone."
The opening is scheduled for 2014, but before that Laskaris, who already runs a similar venture in Vienna, will have to ensure everything goes according to plan. He promises that his FunMotel will take the paid sex industry one cut above, from "grocer to supermarket."
Apart from sex services including "swinger parties, gangbangs" and "porn stars", the FunMotel will also offer traditional hotel features such as restaurants, gym and beauty facilities.
Prostitution is legal in Austria, so there should be no trouble with the authorities.
