Macao is a great place for those who love hustle and bustle of city and want to experience a vibrant ...

Hm... I'm also into quiet places, and (as shown) I found it too :)

I quickly left chaos of downtown with cassinos, and watched it from the distance, when only it's visual form existed. Then in the middle of the night I walked in empty and quiet streets.

So... everybody can found what is He/She looking for. Everywhere I think ;)

quite European taste city besides chinese people walking on the street.

hm... European? maybe more in architecture.

Walking in those narrow streets, and back from the city centre I reminded one movie... "Lisbon story".
I had a camera, not voice recorder, but... feeling was a little similar as I imagined myself "discovering" the city.

This is very Chinese place (as I can judge, as non-Chinese) - mentality, food, customs...
Only traffic was better (cars stoping before walk ways, etc..) and was cleaner (no littering).

Maybe it was different in "colonial" time... ?

I'm tired of the fast-paced city life, the people, the traffic, all this bothers me. I still prefer the slower pace of life. Hope I can find, as you do, what i want in the city i live in.

Maybe. Some says that "Beauty is in an eye of the beholder"...  ;)

In Macau - I found it in empty places and in distant sights on colourfull mess in the downtown.

I work for foreign company, and I'm in China on Business Visa, it is 6 month, with 2 entries of 90 days each.
So before 3 months ends I have to exit China, and enter again - to begin next 3 month of stay.
