Yesterday I came back from short trip to Macao.
Why short? Because it was only to "reset" my visa for another 90 days. Like "from dusk till dawn, but with the smaller vampires" ;)

So here it comes...

Arrival - just walking thru border point between Zhuhai and Macau.
First sight - colors.

Then - a lot of people walking the same way.

Then taxi to the hotel. We (Me and my friend and boss in one) was adviced to take rest in Casa Royal, and it was good choice.

Then - another taxi to the hill, when we begun "reading the city".

One of the first impressions: colors only in main "tourist" ways, rest of the city is covered in murky night.

Look back...

... and walk down the street, among not really crowd, but a lot of other visitors.

Narrow streets of Macao has special climate... It is half-chinese, half-european impression. Mix of the best things? Maybe not. But still feels nice.

After few minutes street wideness...

And soon there is a place, when a lot of people meets.

At thos point my friend gone back to the hotel, and I begun to explore other parts of the cityh.

A lot of taxis, and busses. But I choosen the walking way (as almost always...)

It was about 10 pm, and not too many people, even on main streets.

A lot of shops was already closed, or was closing... what seems to be unusual, comparing to China, when even in small town shops are open much, much longer... until there are customers around.

Off course some shops was opened, mostly with jewerly, and expensive gifts,

... and around casinos.

Yes, probably casinos are places that never (ar almost never) sleeps here.

A lot of taxis drives customer in and out...

In front of the one of the biggest... I found also some art made of... gues what.

Casinos welcomes all the night...

... but I've found a magic place in very centre of the city.

On the surface - just some architecture, but going underneeth...
almost surreal set of shapes, and faded colors.

Empty place. And completelly silence.

One of the six elevators drived me to the upper level, when shapes visable from outside had another, very different meaning.

Look down the centre...

And then few walks around the roof.

Sometimes - city reminded itself above...

... but then colors and shapes was back again.

I'm sure, that I could spend all night just finding another details of this magic place...

But having only one night for all city... I had to go.

By the now almost completelly empty streets in business district of Macao.

Around small laguna, with views on the city.

Where somebody was having a dinner...

... and somebody just sit.

And back to the "main body" of Macao.

...by some other shapes

To the places, when previously crowded - now almost empty.

Some had late supper (or maybe breakfast?)...

And some was going back to the hotel or home...

.

By empty streets of Chinese Lisboa.

Macao is a great place for those who love hustle and bustle of city and want to experience a vibrant nightlife. Not into it. I like quiet peaceful life. Great pics, though.

I took few shots at daylight, already "processing" (it is in RAW format), so I'll add it soon.

When arrived at late afternoon, and at 10:00 next day have to go back to mainland -  I had only few hours of daylight... including those when I slept {:soso_e113:}
