Unions will make globalization a more fair play than it is now !(How many workers in Europe and the USA have lost their jobs, because in other countries there are no unions.

That destruction benefitted the far east a great deal, the same thing happened here to a lot of our manufacturing.

But we have a developed welfare state and national health service in tact despite that.

Unions were not sensible at the time but without them, the working man would never have advanced his miserable life very much.
