Decade's harsh training deserves an Olympic medal? [Copy link] 中文

Only the minutes could they catch public eyes and feel satisfied for their years or decade efforts. That's the best scenario for a Chinese athelete like gym player. There are lots of players in China who spent years training hardly but can't grab a medal in the field of Olympics, then the outcome for them would be kind of cruel.

Each gym player from China now in the Olympic field was chosen to be trained since they were toddlers. Many got injured and even paralysed  after years' training and competition.

Is this training model anti-human? or who would take responsibility for those players when they retire or got injured?
