' Paki ' is prohibited in Britain, its classed as derogatory.

Im not joking.

I have heard this as well and refrain from using the term.

Who cares why?  They don't like it and that's enough.

I don't like being called 'usasian', I find it very offensive.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I will not use the word 'paki'.  The correct term is pakistani.

OBL as an insurance policy?

What kind of logic is that?

We've been giving those guys billion of dollars each year to cooperate with us.

And they stabbed us in the back.

You can't cry 'victim' after that.  Sorry.

to cooperate?

you mean to betray their own national interests and people?

But that is corrupt by definition?

You know very well so does USA that money finished in pockets of few that you bought.

That sums it up, anything unwanted by the recipient is offensive to be politically correct.  Trouble is the control freaks not only want to tell us what we can say but even how we should think.

Its Orwellian.

I have issues with many of the things said in this thread. But first a disclaimer.

I am not a fan of Pakistan as a nation, they have a history of corruption in everything from politics to cricket. The Pakistani's I have met in my city are often rude to women, cry racism at the drop of a hat and ignore customers to continue chatting on their mobile phones.

That said, the way in which the USA invades sovereign airspace to pursue individuals deemed terrorists is as far as I know an illegal activity and they should be held responsible.

As a result, the USA should immediately suspend all of the billions of dollars of aid given to Pakistan as it does not seem correct that a nation gives with one hand while thrusting the knife with the other.

Furthermore, if the Pakistani government is found to be harbouring individuals who are proven by satellite tracking to be moving across the Afghani border without proper Visa authorisation the Pakistani government should hand those individuals over to the Afghani authorities for "prosecution."

If the Pakistani government does not undertake such legal action then it is complicit in criminal activities and should be subject to a full embargo of all exports and a full blockade of all imports.

That would be the legal way of dealing with this sticky situation, would prevent the illegal entry of any party into another country and would isolate individuals who are undertaking criminal activities.
