Britain expels Syrian diplomats after BBC publishes fake photos

Tue May 29, 2012

Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has announced Foreign Secretary William Hague has expelled Syrian diplomats from London after the BBC was accused of propaganda publishing a years-old photo of dead Iraqi children.

The FCO has said Hague’s decision “was a direct response to the horrific killing of over 100 people including 49 children and 34 women in el-Houleh”.

This comes as reports by independent media say the massacre at Houla was carried out by “terrorist death squads”.

The BBC insists that their information obtained from “activists” shows “the Syrian military bombarded Houla” and “the victims died by shelling”.

Nevertheless, video footage of the child victims released on YouTube shows the victims had suffered gunshot wounds to the face and stab wounds, with none of the victims having lost any limbs.

Independent media outlets have accused the British media of “gross breaches of journalistic ethics” and turning into “a rolling propaganda mouthpiece for the claims of dubious anonymous ‘activists’”.

“The claims of dubious anonymous ‘activists’” seem to be bolstered not only by the British media but also by the British government as the FCO says the expulsion of Syrian diplomats from London is an expression of the international outrage at “the terrible massacre at El Houla which was reported at the end of last week”.

This all comes as even United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has said Al Qaeda is behind some terrorists attacks in Syria.

The British intelligence services run these stories for the BBC as part of the agenda to topple President Assad. False and malicious lies, supplemented by false images, are used to direct the 'truth' along a certain path. The UN knows this to be the case yet continues with this charade of concern. So much for independent observers. The west are setting the scene for war against the Syrian government, with few voices raised against it.The western clique are lawless criminals who don't care for Syria only how it serves the interests of Israel. How long will this state of affairs be allowed to continue?

Just World!
A weak and feeble man with an even weaker and more feebly fabricated excuse! Corrupted and in the pocket of his masters. What shame for Britain!!!

There is no activists , that is just excuse from side of BBC for total lack of credibility.

Activist mean they have never asked or contacted anybody , they simply made up story hoping it will pass throe in this days of chaos and confusion.

Her majesty media have no shame or moral , they never had it so I’m not surprised with yet another outrageous "mistake" from BBC

This is the only explanation that makes sense. President Assad would not want to stir up kon-flict in his own country.  Having his minority Alawite sect attack Sunni civilians would be stooooopid. Similarly, attacks on mosques in Iraq were intended to stir up kon-flict between Shi'ites and Sunnis. But refugees from Baghdad pointed out that there are often marriages between the two and there is no kon-flict. The Sunnis believe the successors to the prophet Mohammed must be blood related the Shi'ites don't. THAT is the only difference between the groups.

Let's be honest: no one really cares about a bunch of dead arabs.  It's all just politics.
