South Korean Unification church held a collective wedding ceremony for followers in South Korea. About 2,000 couples from 54 countries around the world went to South Korea to take part in the ceremony, and many other couples participated through network, so 5200 pairs got married that day.
The unification church is a new religious movement founded in 1954 in South Korea by Korean religious leader Sun Myung Moon. The unification church advocates the ethnic group wedding, and they believe that the new families will make the world more peaceful.
