do you use linux cnc ?would this be a good place for engineers to talk open source cnc ? am I the only american that sees Chineese open source for the likley hood of influence of an ancient languege on a new FREE INFRASTRUCTURE  that is LINUX ?  When the
chineese make the product how can you keep them from exporting it? the answer to that question lies  in 1812 so many  years ago  economy  supply demand  when a rail road engineer discovered that a slide boom on the knuckle allowed a smaller locmotive engine to move a larger train from stop. in 1912 THE GUNDERSON BROS.INK started building ships but some say it is differnt./ some says that that the first Gundersons was a Brit captain then the American revolution started and his son started building fake light houses on rocks.
in some instances THE SONS where to known to have salvaged the woman off of THE ships they had wrecked....ended up they had a very large family...so years later when the war started they already OWNED A PORT  the p of p ...so when the rail whent through and the ww2 started they started to build flatbed rail cars to help the war effort and then expanded to those armored troop landers ... by the end of the war they had pioneered new ways to build trains and oceanic barges so it was no suprise when they got most of the US's buisiness for the MAXI CAR which is a train that carries autos by being pulled on to special barges with tracks on the deck.then the maxi is chained down and ships.in this way are foriegn autos able to beat us on price . only it is not that simple , economics keep chinas wages low and her rail system desighned for export and americas rails desingned for import.China can claim eminent domain and requisition the railbed right of ways it needs to change it's infrastruture from export to import and the changes are smaller than the us rails need,the us can claim eminant domain for it's railroad right of ways but the US has a litigeous populous meaning that it takes a long time to get any thing done and cost more than it's worth in lawyers fee's.the railroads win but even years after the previos
owner can still sue and win it is a huge headache for everyone. Maxi cars are not only used in import but also in export becuase of import .
