"Prostitution has led to marked decrease in the cases of rape," she said,

what source is she quoting? that is total crap. nothing of the sort has ever been proven

"and reality has proved that when prostitution was banned, the number of rape cases would increase dramatically."

what "reality" is she talking about?

she seems like a lady unburdened by facts and knowledge, who just makes up things as she needs them, and just blurts out stuff to lead people away into her own little world without care or concern nor any accountability

I'm just curious, will you feel okay if your daughter choose to be a prostitute?

exactly - no one would wish this profession on anyone they know.

But it's supposed to be 'okay' - we have to give men an outlet for their violence and aggression towards women.

How can this logic fly?

Why aren't we focusing on fixing the problem with men - THEY are the problem here.  Women shouldn't have to pay for it.

in fact, what IS ACTUALLY PROVEN is that legalized prostitution causes even more exploitation of women

the women working in legal brothels are often there against their will

all of them suffer from psychological illnesses and depression, and many are use drugs to cope with their circumstances

prostitution is not a viable option for the financially destitute, as its not a life or job that one can simply "quit"

nor is it  a lifestyle which one can simply walk away from, nor is it something which can simply be "turned off"

the cost is extremely damaging emotionally, mentally, physically, and psychologically.

it utterly destroys women.

many of the women are drawn in with promises of high incomes, but once a contract is signed and work begun, they find themselves barely making enough to survive, as they are required to pay rent for themselves, and rent for the amenities and pay for products, and high-cost meals and an endless array of other expenses which ensures the womans dependence, and the only way she is leaving is with less money than she started with. often without enough to even get out of town and look for another job

this law benefits w##mongers, rapists, sexual sadists, psychopaths, sociopaths, criminals, swindlers, schemers, exploiters and even human traffickers.

and what it does is give them a legal front for their evil dealings, and takes even more power away from the women who are being exploited
