Hi everyone, as I've promised that I'll introduce you my special recipe: "Fried cauliflower with tomato".  I invented it. Don't worry, it's non-toxic {:soso__12604267680789785556_1:}  It's very healthy.


It takes you 5 minutes or so to get it done.  Here it goes:

Vegetables:  Cauliflower 350g ; tomato 200g
                 Spring Onion     a little  ;   Garlic 1 big or 2 small cloves

Ingredients: Cooking oil; salt; chicken essence seasoning (OR MSG) ; sugar (optional); sesame oil(optional);

Preparation: (if you're in a rush)

1 Boil water in the pan, meanwhile, you can rip the cauliflower into small flowers.
2 As soon as the water boils, put cauliflowers in, boil until the color of cauliflowers turns a little transparent;
3 While caulifowers are in the hot water, you can wash the tomato and chop it into smaller chunks. Smash the garlic into pieces.

4 Get caulifowers out and wash in the cold water.

Start to cook:

1 Start the stove with a mild fire, heat up the cooking oil;
2 Put the garlic in and fry for a few seconds till you can smell it;

3 Put tomato in, turn up the fire and fry for 15 seconds;

4 Put cauliflowers in, keep stir-frying, add salt, a little chicken essence seasoning (OR MSG), sugar(Up to your preferrence);
Note: You can taste it while you're stir-frying. And caulifowers taste better when they're a bit crunchy);

6 When it's almost done, scatter some spring onion on the top, a few drops of sesame oil(optional);

it seems the Suan Cai is different than the Suan Cai i usually see in Sichuan or Kejia cooking, etc...

the one in your photo seems white.. i usually just see the green ones, which are actually available all over SE asia...

which type of cabbage does it come from?

do you also have the green kind there? or is that the only kind of suancai you have there?

Make my Pumpkin Pie:
Preparation:  flowers,pumpkin (half kilo), chases, one egg,salts.
Baking the pumpkin in the oven first for less than half hr;
Making flower paste with warm water;
Mixing the pumpkin with chase.
