Iran has uranium for 4 nukes, builds US-reach missiles - Israel

2 February, 2012

Russia Today
Iranian scientists have already managed to enrich enough radioactive material to successfully produce not just one, but four nuclear bombs, Israel’s military intelligence chief has announced.
General Aviv Kochavi broke the news at a security conference on Thursday. The intelligence chief says he believes Iran would need a year from the word go to actually producing a crude device, and another year or two to manufacture a nuclear warhead that can be installed on a ballistic missile.
Kochavi also claimed that “Iran is very actively pursuing its efforts to develop its nuclear capacities, and we have evidence that they are seeking nuclear weapons."However, no actual evidence was produced or even referred to at the conference.
The Israeli Deputy PM added fuel to the fire, claiming that Iran has also succeeded in building a long-range missile capable of putting the US within its reach. Moshe Ya’alon, who had just returned from Washington where he discussed the Iran situation with President Obama’s administration, chose to echo Kochavi’s words of warning, saying “The Israeli government will stop Iran one way or another.”
These latest statements are very much in line with the position of Israel and its allies who are accusing Iran of using its nuclear industry to mask plans to develop nuclear arms, a charge official Tehran has frequently and vehemently denied.
Israel, backed by its key ally the United States, has long pushed for tougher sanctions against Iran. Top level officials in both Tel Aviv and Washington DC have recently said they do not rule out a military attack against the Islamic Republic.
As sparks continue to fly around the powder keg of Iran’s supposed nuclear ambitions, the Middle Eastern state is not playing dead either. A defiant President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced on Thursday that the country is planning to double its military spending over the next year; a sign that is being interpreted by many as “taking a stand” against pressure from the West.

The United States and their NATO allies are also flexing their muscles, with recent transfers of US fighter jets and other military planes to the region. Troops have also been reportedly arriving at various American military bases in the Persian Gulf, with another ten thousand soldiers recently transferred to Israel – allegedly to test the US anti-ballistic missile defense system.
On top of that, two US Navy aircraft carriers – the USS Abraham Lincoln and Carl Vinson – are on patrol in the Persian Gulf and are expected to be joined by the USS Enterprise in March. The USS Annapolis, a nuclear submarine, was earlier reported to have entered the Red Sea and is rumored to be heading towards the Gulf as well.
Together with the US military bases already established in the region – for example, the 5th Fleet, stationed in Bahrain – all of this is interpreted by many as nothing shy of intimidation, and some experts believe the US is trying to provoke Iran into making the first move.

can we really trust the words of a zionist in these matters (or any other matter)

it would be good if Iran did have nuclear capability.

that would not stop the covert destabilisation operations the zionists are carrying out inside Iran or the lies from the opposition in exile.

but it would sure put a brake on any plans to invade or attack Iran and there would no longer be need for sanctions to prevent them getting nukes - which would mean of course the zionists would need to find another excuse to impose sanctions to weaken the country and force regime change.

the zionists might have been better choosing one of their other options for their citadel - one not in the middle of the hornets nest ...........

Wake up, this is impossible.

Not really. Anyone is capable of producing nukes these days providing they have all of the needed ingredients. Honestly however, and this does not mean I'm anti-Iranian, it's more rather that I believe that the less nukes there are in the world today, the better off for this beast we call human beings. Yes, as intelligent and as civilized as we human beings claim we are, deeply down however are the remnants of our beastly past which dictates that to kill is to survive and that is likely going to continue for a number milleniums before we humans can rid ourselves of this evil and beastly gene...

I agree with most of that.

but I do not agree on the beast nature of humanity.

I have lived in many countries and observed peoples of all races living together in perfect harmony - especially where they have not been subjected to religious dogma/doctrin

the problem arises when some form of leadership seeks to turn people against each other - sadly there are sheep who will follow the loudest goat and turn on their once friends.

get rid of the religious and political influences and the problem goes away.

unfortunately human nature is pliable to those who would have us believe we are better than the person beside us - and that is what religion and politicals prey on - that weakness in human nature.

now we have allowed the powers to have all the weapons and soldiers and police to squash any dissent they feel might threaten their power.

>>> get rid of the religious and political influences and the problem goes away<<<

Politics is that which are Chang's KMT verses Mao's CCP and/or Kim's Korea verse Lee's Korea.

When it's the US, and/or the former Soviet Union verses China, it becomes a case of Yellow Peril phobia or confrontation between the civilizations and, the Indians are part of this quest for civilizational supremacy.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki, my stance, wasn't selected because Japan was evil empire. She was no more evil than Hitler's Germany was. She was selected the guinee pig because, we yellow bas*tards, are viewed as that of the Indians of North America and the mentality is that they needed to be taught a lesson.

This mentally will remain part of the genetical make ups of the European clan and the practice vividly still very visible today in the Arab world and in North Africa.

Yes, it's the animal instinct in us and it'll be a part of us until time and eternity.

yes I agree.

the superiority complex of some does raise the question of race rather than political hegemony.

but deep down I see the political religious influence as the driving force.

into antiquity we can see conflict and skirmishes as scattered tribal groups came into contact with each other, nomads were always seeking the best grazing for their herds.

but when a tribe became more powerful and had a strong political leader (chief) or a powerfull shaman they were more likely to engage another tribe in conflict under prompting from the politico/religious leadership. the leaders sought more subjects and taking the weaker tribes survivors as slaves provided that rapid expansion of power that became so destructive.

when groups respected each other and did not covet what their neighbours had harmony prevailed.

we have a good example of a people to study in that regard with the australian aborigine - a people who were still living their tribal nomadic lives until whites invaded their lands.

aborigine people traversed fairly large tracts of land - they had now problem living in harmony so long as each tribe respected the other tribes customs and totems. right of passage was asked and given.

conflict among the tribes remained virtually non existent. and even when a conflict did arise it was usually settled in some peaceful way - if that were not possible it could result in a spear throwing contest which would end with the first drawing of blood.

whites on the other hand have slaughtered millions to flesh out the coffers of their religious and political leaders. seeing other races as inferior and as a means of wealth and labour.
