Unfortunately ........

I do not think the 'nongming' would agree with you .........

You do not require as many when your proficiency is so much greater.

But someday China should catch up there too, someday.

And lets hope the bubble never pops, or your 10 million will drop by half over night.

40 years ago barely anyone had a refrigerator in Shanghai, now they are common place.

I hope for a chicken in every pot too. Perhaps two.

I am not sure 51% is correct per centage.

but why do we all need to move to live in cities ?

Isn't that nicer for a farmer living in a countryside?

For the business peoples, there are not so much choices for them.

Or, I do not understand well the OP's thread.

The ideal proportion would be two thirds city,
One third rural.

The danger is that it happens too fast.
May already be happening too fast already.
I've made my living, Mr. Thompson, in large part as a gambler. Some days I make twenty bets, some days I make none. There are weeks, sometimes months, in fact, when I don't make any bet at all because ...

I'm glad you have begun to pay attention to the posts by this "Most Valuable Member of China Daily ...

Hi, Tigress. First of all, the Most Valuable Members are picked by the forum members. What we can do is to make it a fair play.

Second, many westerners share the same perspectives with Seneca, it's no surprise, the forum is also open to them, at least they can hear voices from natve Chinese, it not a bad thing.

Ok, let's stick to  the urbanizatioin things.  If you have any problems with moderation things, you can give me messages.
