A good idea and worthwhile project.

Bridge to better goodwill than animosity festered by foreigners ...

CHINA will need HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of Indian Migrant workers in the FUTURE.

Now, only the HIMALAYA block those benefits.
and AIR TRAVEL tend to limit the type of talents that arrives on China's shores!

hmmmmm

Mr. WU, you surprise me with your ideas!

Dharamshala: - According to a report by the Economic Times, India will build three strategic rail lines close to the
Chinese Tibet border.

Let's hope them projects don't finish up like the highway project Delhi to Mashobra.
In the 1990s, the drive took 8hours, in 2009, it took 11 and in 2012 you spent 12 hours on the road.

In September last year, a study of schools in the biggest states discovered that India's peers in adult literacy are Afghanistan and Papua New Guinea.

Lol. Why would anyone want to build a railroad over a >4,200m high pass (Nathu-La) through Sikkim? The first thought I had is why to build anything in an easy way if it is also possible to build it really complicated and dangerous?

There is however a slim chance that a link is constructed from Shigatse down to the Nepali border (after completion of the Lhasa-Shigatse route) and sometimes extend it to Kathmandu.

If ever a railroad is constructed to connect China and India it will probably be via Myanmar and not over the Nathu-La.
