The US is an Edge and a Center Nation,
China is still an edge nation, although tottering
towards becoming a Center Nation.  China has
no incentive yet because most of the folks still
have jobs, and money is pumping throughout the economy.
Remove the impetus of mass economic liberalization, and stagnation
occurs, with stagnation, a new need occurs. Placate the masses,
with something more than bread and circuses.
70 percent of China's wealth is along the coast, along with maybe
30 % of the population, with a stagnant economy, one has two choices
internal strife and conflict, or focus on an external enemy.
Which one will China choose?
We'll see, we'll see.
