Should the drivers ask the same question before doing anything to help her?
Did you ask the same question in the news the nun's self-immolation?

It is good that people such as yourself care about people that wish to end their lives in such a public manner  ...........

Might I suggest that you start in S. Korea  .........

It has the highest suicide rate in the world  ..........

As for those people who wish to terminate in such open and spectacular ways  ..........

You forget  ..........

It is their human right .........

And how the rest respond is also their human right .........

The way you respond is also your human right ...........

How should we judge all these rights  ..........

By just yours alone perhaps ..............

No. I'm sure majority of people would want to know why ALL those drivers ignored her more than the reasons behind that woman's behaviour. It would be equally important but I'd like to see the indif ...

I am not interested in what a MORON like you think.

I am still waiting to hear the answer from drwatson.  I want to see whether he will stoop low to your level.

"news about the nun's self-immolation?"  What about the news ?  I didn't read.

"Should the drivers ask the same question ..... ?"

The fact is, I don't think the drivers ask the question WHY the woman jumped.  I don't think they care.  That is why I am curious to know why these people seem to care about uninterested drivers instead of the woman who jumped -- what her problems were that cause her to take her life ?

Also what "anything" can those uninterested drivers do to help her when she chose to die ?

Next in line to make yet another smug, sanctimonious comment?

Woman jumps off bridge into traffic in Chengdu; drivers carry on

We make mainstream movies of this same thing in the US. For example:

Plot Summary for
The Bridge (2006/I) More at IMDbPro »
People suffer largely unnoticed while the rest of the world goes about its business. This is a documentary exploration of the mythic beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge, the most popular suicide destination in the world, and those drawn by its call. Steel and his crew filmed the bridge during daylight hours from two separate locations for all of 2004, recording most of the two dozen deaths in that year (and preventing several others). They also taped interviews with friends, families and witnesses, who recount in sorrowful detail stories of struggles with depression, substance abuse and mental illness. Raises questions about suicide, mental illness and civic responsibility as well as the filmmaker's relationship to his fraught and complicated material. Written by G. Leggat

But don't let me disturb anyone here. Get in line to make the next sickeningly sanctimonious comments about how insensitive and terrible the Chinese people have become.
