Soapy is on his bad habit again.
He tries hard to portrait himself as an impartial, yet he take sides clearly.
........................................................................

Yes  .............

Every now and then they let him out  ............

And he spends his time attacking posters rather than dealing with the topic ........

Quite sad really ..........

And I am sure that he has ghosts as well ..........

Insecurity issues I think ..........

Um ......... ?

Could you please name the countries in the ME in which China is deploying ...........

Bombs, bullets and feet on-the-ground ...... ...

Deploying troops is not the end all qualifier here.

China has veto power.  You better believe that countries that China aligns with does put pressure on China to use that power or not.

The very reason why China did not veto Libya was due to this pressure.

The US gets pressured to intervene militarily because we have the biggest military.

It won't be long before China will receive that kind of pressure.

Its always one hand washes the other in politics.

China using their veto power on syria, I believe was to pacify their relationship with iran.

Whatever power you use, whether soft or hard power, the reality behind it is always the same.

Its too simplistic to look at a government's actions or foreign policy, without taking in the full context.

We live in a world where joining alliances improves your position and influence in the world.

And to maintain these...you can't just act out of your own convictions or moral standards.  The big picture must always be in focus.

.
Wrong.

The dogmaster manufactured the so-call pressure.

They are just plain blood thirsty.

.

Not true.

The US didn't cause the problems in the balkans for example.

The pressure for us to get involved came from our allies in europe.

And remember when Saakashvili started a war with Russia to try to draw in NATO and regain control of Georgia's disputed territories?

We didn't bite on that one.

The first Iraq war when they invaded Kuwait - it was Saudi Arabia that pressured us to go into that war.  Probably the second one too...

Things are not always as they seem.
