".... local secretaries of the CPC ...."

" .... one in almost every village, in every city ...."

" .... they elected by local CPC party members not by the people ...."

" .... Beijing have published the rules to adopt such measures, like a choice of 2 or 3 CPC candidates...."

It would be good if the rules offered a choice of at least three candidates.
A choice of six would be even better.

Perhaps Beijing should consider allowing the local people to elect one of six CPC candidates.
The local people might be happier with this arrangement.

Perhaps Beijing could try this in one place to see if it is satisfactory to everybody.

One candidate is no choice at all.

" .... Every CPC local secretary above village-level would work in many different places of China ...."

So it would be easy for Beijing to ask the local people to vote for one of several CPC candidates.

I think this election would be very interesting to watch on television.

.

Maybe, but the present politicians don't want to give up the present prvileged government power. Why don't they need to take the risks to launch election? If so, maybe some of them would not move up to a higher level position any more if local Chinese can contribute to the decision of career ladder.

Many chinese economist experts suggested in the past few years,
Chinese government need to buy the government power back from the present government officials with public wealth (government-owne assets, and government-own companies, and other wealth) in the following reform.
