for the moment Saudi Arabia looks like fortress impossible for revolutionaries.

the irony is, we are waiting for Americans to kill Gadafi , then we kill American ally, King Abdullah of the House of Saud.

I wouldn't call the saudis 'docile'.  And they of course, present a huge problem for western diplomacy.

Oh for God's sake, JFenix!

Won't you even forgive a brief digression from the Saudis just because they sent troops to quell the uprising in Yemen?

Do not forget that they are a sovereign nation and thus, have self-determination to send their troops to where they want and they don't need authorization from whatever country to do that. Like most western countries.

The Saudis are the biggest problem in the ME.  They are the biggest exporters of terrorism.  Their crazy strain of lslam, wahhabism, is a direct contributing factor to all the radicalization we have seen over the last couple decades.  Saudi Arabia will never advance with the current leadership.  The 'royal family' is sickening and their ties with the US is embarrassing.  I would love nothing more than to see the house of saud fall.

Hi Z ..........

As the articles asks in this thread why not the others, and a distinction did come out of it .........

Saudi, Yemen, Tunisia did not turn into civil war .......

OK, fair enough .........

Then the hypocrisy is shown plainly in Rwanda, Somalia and the Sudan .......

Not enough resources and too poor to rob ...........

But war for humanitarianism purposes ............

Definitely a resounding NO .........

So oil and regime change .........

The deal the French struck with the Libyan opposition was on 10th March and they went public to proclaim the rebels legit ......

They did this incredibly odd diplomatic thing to secure their new oil deals ............

Just 10 days before the strikes on Libya .........

A bunch of bullying liars ............
