General Ding, WARFARE depends on GEOGRAPHIC region, climatic, vegetation conditions!
Weapon needs varies greatly - so, it's better for China to be "supplier of air power", weapons based on the "specification" China's allies and friends! - Foreign warfare zones - has different needs!

We have developed Space, Air, Land, Intercontinental Missiles, Missile of all sorts of capability, Coastal, City, Desert, Mountains, Cold, Hot, Sea, Deep Waters, AND MOST RECENTLY, Sea Bed combat too!

cheerios!

Research needs to be done in "different parts" of China

.......and in "foreign station" centres!

It will "greatly improve" the capability of China's PLA!
Don't just do research in Wuhan only! - it'll be a disaster for China, as a global power to use "Wuhan Situation" as "only research centre for the PLA"!

cheerios!

In many article, they said J-20 has adjustable DSI inlet smaller than F-22, so frontal stealth is better.
How do you know China's new electronic system is bulky?

Yes, frontal...so it's not an air superiority fighter.

I'm saying the plane is bulky.

China isn't renowned for it's electronics now, is it? That's been the main issue anyway, suitable electronics for the aircraft. China just doesn't have them yet.

Probably the SIZE of the JET indicates the "purpose" of the new "stealth jet"!

Big Fuselage - means BIG electronic, avionic space needed. Lack of miniaturization!
                    - means also BIG BOMB bay.
                    - means it needs Big Jet Engine!

That seems to be the "shape of the Russian aviation industry"!
But China's J-10 seems to be quite "compact" - so it's more likely to be "fighter bomber" purpose!

Smaller Jets, must be better in "handling" "aerial dog fights"!
Smaller frame, better "turns"!!!!

cheerios!

Absolutely ridiculous in calling USA evil, but looking past that,

In order for China to successfully "confront" US militarily, she needs at the very least the equivalent to the US 7th Fleet, that includes

at least 7X 8000+ Ton class DDGs(China has 4+2), 2 8000+ Ton CGs(China has 0), 3 Quiet SSNs(China has 0), Some neutralizing weapon against a (DF-21 has not demonstrated it's effectiveness).

This is only the short haul, if the war starts, US can relocate it's naval assets from other theaters and squash the PLAN.

Further down the path, you'll begin to pit the manufacturing power of US and China against each other. This is something China cannot hope to win, not for a few decades at least.

Of course this doesn't take into account skill, experience, leadership, etc of the soldiers and officers on both sides.

J-20 is not a game changer, neither is the DF-21. You need to start thinking in systems, rather than individual equipment. Your weapons also need to be able to leave your coastline for you to confront someone.
