Russia says it may deploy first-strike nuke missiles

Updated: 2011-01-25 09:19
MOSCOW - Russia is waiting for NATO's response to the latest proposal about the European anti-missile defense (AMD) system, and if an agreement with the alliance fails, Russia would deploy its nuclear missiles, President Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday.

During his meeting with Russia's envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin, Medvedev stressed that NATO should realize Moscow's concerns and give "direct answer" to where its western partners saw Russia's place in future European AMD.
"We need it (AMD) not to play some common games with NATO but to defend Russia in a due way. Let's don't joke with it," Medvedev warned, as quoted by Interfax news agency.

He said in any case Russia will find the solution either together with NATO or separately, adding that some decisions regarding first-strike nuclear missiles deployment could be "unpleasant."

On Monday, a US delegation, headed by deputy Defense Minister and former Ambassador to Russia Alexander Vershbow, arrived in Moscow to discuss the AMD cooperation between Russia and the United States.

Moscow has long opposed the deployment of NATO missile defense facilities near its borders, claiming they would be a security threat and upset the strategic balance of force in Europe.

Hah Hah! Are we Chinese suppose to blink because of what you had posted here? ...

Do some serious thinking, Mr. p ig brain Mr. Fumanchu: Moscow is but only a stone's throw away from Xinjiang, from Inner Mongolia, and from China's Northeast where some of China's deadliest arsenals are stashed. So, if the testicals that you so love to suck on didn't take the opportunity which was available to them back in the 50's and 60's, trying to backtrack into time and try to do us in now would imply that they are asking for TROUBLE, BIG  BIG TROUBLE! Don't you agree, Mr. Giap ?

Here are something for you to think about before you open that envious mouth of yours: Russia is not stupid. Neither are the Americans stupid. If they want to deal with us Chinese, they won't be as stupid as to deal with us directly. They would, instead, engage us through a third party, i.e., Vietnam for examples, In a confrontation between these three boy's, the Americans won't suffer, the Russians won't suffer either, and neither will the Chinese feel as much as a pinch because for us Chinese, over population is a problem -- a prolonged conflict in the Vietnamese panhandle would be the ideal opportunity and ideal excuse to keep China's over population at a more healthy balance.  Who will be the loser then? Guess, Mr. Fumanchu? And I thought you were so smart!

Here's how history works: China conspired with the Americans to break Russia's back, economically, in Afghanistan. By Golly, that war did broke the USSR's back. The USSR never recovered from its Afghanistan adventure.  She soon crumbled and disintegrated from the inside out. The Americans ventured into Iraq and Afghanistan. These two American adventures broke America's back.  She now suffering the consequences of those two adventures. So, how long do you you suppose Vietnam can hang on before it starts to crumble from within?

Hell, I'm not smart enough to figure that one out, Mr. Fumanchu, so do you know who'll be the real victim here???
Putin's a killer. This was the claim made by Fox News journalist; Bill O'Reilly during his recent interview with Donald Trump. Trump's reply came in the form of a simple question. What, you think our country's so innocent?
