With the level of arrogance displayed by a number of Chinese posters.
If you're supposed to represent some kind of CHinese mindset, I can safely say that any supposed position of power by China, would be a disaster, given how little you understand about other cultures. And the rest of the world. Travelled much? Picked a book recently? Felt that you had some kind of connection to someone who totally different from yourself?

(no, you have no idea and are completely unable to comprehend any central thought that is not Chinese.
You're to shut-off from the world.
Like introverted babies, you sit on a forum and pretend that you are someone by refering a made up scenario, where you can look at a Chinese flag so that you can feel good eventhough you're failures as individuals.
But even if that flag would represent great collective achievements, your failures will continue to be individual. That you will always have to live with.

You bought and sold your own opium.
That opium is called nationalism.

It's not only that,  it's also the lack of self-criticism; inability to reflect; constant desire to compare; wish to take victories that haven't been won (and might never be won), that does not make you a worthy citizen of the world. Worthy of China perhaps - But not the world.

With this much bragging, I wonder, is your national (or personal) self-confidence intact? Feeling a tad small?

If there were no U.S. andS.U. role models, would the term 'superpower' at all exist? If it didn't exist, what kind of China would we be seeing today? Wouldn't China simply be Asia's strongest stron ...

"superpower" is just narrow it down of what you might have but not what you might do or not do with it, and yet the US is a great example of power (go around bullyin others to get its FIX...yeah y'all rememberin sadam & others clearly)...china might be the next superpower if she follows the shadow of the US...bulley others just the former soviet union with so many former soviet states...the bottom line is no bulley no power simple as that

self-respect

When CPC government endow foreign citizens a higher social status in Mainland China land than its own people, however, Mainland China Citizen suffer a humble social status a lot in Mongolia, Russia and South Korea. As an individual, We have to learn what's "self-respect". How let others treat one with respect if one despise himself. Large as a nation, How let other nations show respect to you if the government treat his own people worse than foreigners in his own land?

the distance between idea and reality

Why did Mainland China and Vietnam turn from close friend to enemy? CPC government has devoted a lot to help Vietnam while Mainland China citizen starve to death a lot in 1960s. At last a war was broke out between each other. Why do India keep a better relationship with U.S.A and Former Soveit Union (the present Russia) than China? The same time, Mainland China suffered a lot from the deteriorated relationship. Ti-bet land was part of China in Qing Dynasty and KMT government, but now it grow a big issue. Why did it not turn a big issue after India occupied Bhutan 50 years ago? As a nation, what's Mainland China's advantage in foreign issues? What did we gain from the past 60 years? It is still the Permanet member of UN security council, which inherited from KMT government.

stubborn jerk or think more about other nations' way of thinking , open mind

Mainland China government said a lot "never seek hegemony", however, Newspapers in Japan and South Korea still wrote a lot about "tribute system" and "Dynasty politics" on Mainland China. Do we indeed like to induge in our own future dreams and the past culture in foreign issues? As CPC government make foeign policies from mainland chinese way of life, our way of thinking, why dont we think more about others? another way of thinking?

Our Mainland Chinese Weihai city Mayor was so generous that the official said he will provide the poor American mayor the total expense including the round trip fleight tickets, the acommodation, the dinner and extra gifts, such as clothes and ..

Here I show respect to this American Mayor and its corresponding system from this CCAV propagada broadcast. and show disgust to Chinese mayor and its corresponding system.
