Located to the east of Dalian, Changhai County is composed of 142 islands in the Yellow Sea.
It is famous for precious seafood, such as trepang (a kind of sea cucumber), abalone, and sea urchin.

So how much would I have to pay for abalone in Changhai County?

the last time i was about to purchase some in the U.K it was just over £50 a can and so i declined the temptation. the tase is now just a memory.

price depends on the size. smaller ones may cost only 20 yuan, bigger ones may cost 200 yuan each or even higher.

i came from Changhai Country about 20 yeasrs ago, even 10 years ago, it was a nice place for tourism, blue sky and blue sea (not dark green sea), delicious seafood...but now, the seafood business made it a horrible and nasty place, sand covered by seafood garbage, the sea with fishing facilities... there is no blue-color sea view now which only exists in my memory.
