Olympic champion hurdler Liu Xiang of China refreshed the Asiad record with 13.09 seconds to harvest his third straight Asiad gold in Guangzhou on Wednesday.

It was Liu's third record-breaking experience after he broke the Asiad record four years ago in Doha and eight years ago in Pusan.

"I am very happy to win the Asian Games title the third time," said exciting Liu. "I didn't expect I could race in 13.09."

Liu limped off the field of the national stadium Bird's Nest in the 2008 Beijing Games even before he started running in the first heat to defend his Olympic glory, leaving millions of Chinese fans dumbfounded with the blow.

Shi Dongpeng is a year younger than Liu Xiang, but he is not match to Liu Xiang in natural gift for sports. He tried his best, however.

But not many Chinese tract & field athletes are like world champion Liu Xiang,
there's need to focus on producing more 'Liu Xiang' in tract & field athletes,
perhaps the training program is not there yet, or the kind of trainings are not
suitable for Chinese athletes,
should focus more on the right kind of trainings that's best suited for Chinese body types,
should think about Bruce Lee, he's not big or bulky but he has great speed & power.
Yes, Bruce Lee's speed & power is legendary, his actions are so fast, even camera
couldn't capture all details. If we have many 'Bruce Lee's in tract & field athletics,
it would sure win all the gold medals.
Yes, should train like Bruce Lee.
