it is no matter which chip is used, the key for this machine is to attain critical computeing capacity and speed for actual usage. other than usual application, particularly  high-performance computing is increasingly critical to scientific research and discovery around the world.

many know it is fast and fastest, but actually no sense on how fast it is,  

visually, if this tianhe-1a computing one day, the data volume it computed  will take 620 years for a dual-core desktop computer to finish computing
