Rowan Atkinson: 'I've played Mr Bean for the last time'

Rowan Atkinson was pictured leaving his car on the side of the road on Davies Street, London, W1. Rowan came back a little later when the RAC came after about 30 minutes, Rowan assessed the car with the RAC technician before jumping into the RAC van to fill the paper work. Shortly after, Rowan left the car to be cared for by the technician before picking up his bags and leaving in a taxi a couple of blocks away. A tow truck came about an hour later to take the car off the streets.
Actor Rowan Atkinson has said he can't imagine ever playing his most successful creation Mr Bean again.

Bumbling Mr Bean first appeared on our screens in a TV series which ran for five years from 1990.

While promoting his movie, Johnny English Reborn, the 56-year-old said: "I'd be surprised if I did any more Mr Bean, I'd say that much."

He added to The Australian: "I think I've played Mr Bean for the last time, although of course you must never say never, but I think that's the end of him."

Atkinson's previous performance, Mr Bean's Holiday, was four years ago and before that, he was last seen on screens in Johnny English and Love Actually in 2003.
