It's much bigger than my estimated Rmb 8 billion to relocate 150,000 workers from Shenzen!
Now Foxconn suggest Rmb 35 billion to build new facilities to hire 100,000 in Chengdu only, or does that  ...

I don't think they relocate. I understand that they build additional facilities in Henan and Sichuan. I've never heard that they intent to close the GD factory. Streamlining, maybe, but no closure. Of course I'm not 100% sure.

They are negotiating i reckon!
Forbe website list Foxconn at world's no.8 largest Electronic Company!

At revenue of US$61 billion it appears, and 500,000 employees!
That makes it US$120,000 revenue per employee (quite similar to other large China enterprise!)
with average salaries of US$2,500 a month now - peanuts - only 2% of turnover!

Something wrong with your information Mr. Policeman in Japan!

Maybe it's like 300,000 employees in Shenzen, 150,000 in Tianjin, and 50,000 in India, Vietnam, Brazil!

Wa ha ha ha

Mr. Policeman in Tokyo, your messages doesn't make sense...

.....maybe relocations of garment, gifts making is easier to Henan, as labour cost per unit production is so much higher - up to 30% is labour cost!

Furnitures, Toys, Construction materials are voluminious, not very suitable for INLAND provinces!
I reckon, the local government needs to heavily "subsidized" any such relocations from Foxconn, not that easy!

cheerios!

If you want to get FOXCONN to relocate to Henan, THIS IS PROBABLY AN OPTION.

Since it cost Rmb35 billion to do it - your own data!

Huawei has better turnover per employee in Shenzen!

It's supposed to be US$230,000 per employee.

I reckon Huawei, Foxconn collectively hires almost 400,000 workers in Shenzen!
If you add BYD, that would add 130,000 workers in Shenzen!

Shenzen is city of 8 million?
Meaning maybe 6 million employee, according to Wiki, it has US$30 billion investments.....
So, US$5,000 investment per employee.......

Relocating those less "costly" industries is better!

cheeerios!

BE RATIONAL, not reckless!
