Contrast the two pictures in #1 and #22

Contrast the two pictures in #1 and #22

He Pingping has stunted growth.  He is a dwarf.

He was discovered and made an EXHIBIT for the world.  Good.

Compare him to the tallest woman and the tallest man.

But there is always a more DIGNIFIED way of doing it

THAN having him TOWERED OVER by a white woman with HIM sitting between her legs.

We know Westerners are well-known to be polite and mind their manners.  They are never overtly or ostensibly vulgar or rude.  That does not mean that they are not. ...

I know the picture #1 conjures laughter and fun for MANY.

It looks FUNNY indeed to have a small (Asian) man sit between the long legs of a tall white BIMBO towering over him.

Many here argued that there is nothing wrong with the picture.

Of course.  Only a little loss of dignity for that small man.

Gladly, the tallest man chose to have He pinping stand SIDE BY SIDE with him

and NOT under him.

I'm also Chinese. How come I don't find that picture offensive

He Pingping is not Chinese.

He is a Mongolian.

That picture was used in a thread by 1584austin

TO SCORN.

If there is nothing wrong with the picture

WHY was it chosen to scorn ?

THINK  ... if you have that ability.

Did FAME kill him?

Shortest Man and Tallest Man

He fell ill with suspected heart complications in Rome, where he was due to appear on a TV show.
Last night Guinness World Records chiefs paid tribute to Pingping, who suffered from primordial dwarfism. ...

... "For such a small man, he made a huge impact around the world," he added.
Mr He was in the Italian capital to take part in the filming of a television programme called The Record Show.

According to the TV production company Europroduzione, he had already filmed two episodes of the programme when he complained of feeling unwell. ...

From Dwarf to a Celebrity ....

He Pingping, the Guinness record world's smallest man, was made to work a normal man's work.

To a Dwarf, he was working as a Giant.

How could his heart take it?

Did they over-work him?

Hard to say they did not.

"They"?  Who?

So, fame is not necessarily a good thing.

Joking?

Is this a joke? The picture is rude? But then the picture of  him standing beside the man towering over him and him looking up isn't? What's the difference? That he's sitting beneath the lady? A lot of men would pay money to be sitting beneath some ladies skirt...

And the real joke here is that you pretend Chinese don't laugh at others, I totally agree Westerners do, but so do Chinese. How many times have I heard Chinese students laughing and making fun of someone for being fat? Or for having very dark skin? Everyone laughs at everyone, grow up. Attacking one group of people for laughing and pretending another group doesn't just clearly shows you have absolutely no ability to be unbiased or to look at things objectively...

Too bad for you all you accomplish by this foolish post is make everyone here laugh at you...
