BP, a british owned company could have prevented the spill on many occasions but chose not to in order to save money.  They also censored many employees from talking to the media.

Does Britain have no respect for US lives?

Wettie,

you need to learn more about foreign countries before you post here. Britain (or 'Britian' as you have it) is not a socialist paradise; BP are a multinational BUSINESS conglomerate headq ...

Go get an F for being naive.  Everyone knows that in western countries, it is the corporations that have the most power.  For example, Dick Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton, the 2nd largest oil company, the heads of the US treasury are all part of Goldman Sachs, the heads of the FDA are part of Monsanto and other large corn producers.   You are a fool to think BP has no ties with government.

Also, the heads of BP are british/european and would never let this kind of catastrophe to happen in Europe where they are from.

Britain and all other nations of this planet  should have no respect  for U. S. lies about the oil spills.

Did Hell just froze over right now?,
I fully agree with Jordan_c_fan and Kbay!!!

Blame yourself,
it's two american companies (including Halibourton) which are actually responsible for this.
BP just leased the Platform, but of course, BRITISH Petroleum is a welcome Scapegoat.

Another thing that is quite unveiling the two of you is this talking about the great, AMERICAN LIVES,
I think any european Member and quite some other Members know exactly what I'm talking about.

In this case, America is not at fault, but the greedy British.  Who do you think makes the decisions for BP?  Obviously, the british/europeans.  Why would America purposely sabotage their own health and land?  Many Americans rely on the gulf for seafood and exports.
