Coming back to the poll, they worry about NK's stagnation. They worry about China's growth. They worry about global warming. They worry about financial collapse. They worry about Iran. They worry about Al Qaeda. They worry about unemployment. They worry about inflation. They worry about the stock market bubble. They worry about the Gulf of Mexico. They worry about illegals. They worry about H1N1. ... On and on and on. Is there anything they don't worry about?

China doesn't need hundreds of allies. It is a peaceful country and does not occupy half the world. China knows better how to spend its wealth.

Nice words, but this won't help you no more than dodge the question. How Peaceful China remains will depend on the top leader who sits in Beijing. China did fought wars.

Even this stand-off mode is contested, isn't it?

Its a small corvette. An anti submarine detection fleet must atleast have a destroyer and a light cruiser. A small isolated corvette on step down mode an easy meat for a fox submarine commander

As I said, I'm neutral and remain skeptical, similar to the reporting of the Swedish press about the findings.

When did the US repent for the Vietnam War? They haven't paid a cent to the Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange!

Buddy, Vietnam would have been a better country if the US had won. Her people's per capita would have been as that of S.Korea. Vietnamese are not only a victim of US attack but also a bitter war that happened later which swallowed 100,000 civilians.

I doubt that Vietnam GDP per capita would have been that of South Korea.  The US was and is not responsible for SK's economic growth either

Vietnam most likely would have been around what the Phillipenes are at. They probably would be worse off as the Phillipenes is quite dependant on its english speaking population to send remitances back home as a large number work outside of the Phillipenes

Yep, another two million Vietnamese killed, the country completely deforested and devestated and America had one more treeless colony. The Vietnamese had a different opinion and they made the Americans feel it.

We all know that this 100k figure is far over the top and was NEVER ever officially confirmed by either side of the conflict.
